I've been really busy during the past week, but look forward to lots of news and a new site layout coming very soon. (I'm aiming for this weekend!)

Just an important note to everyone: there's a story going around about David Duchovny not being in the last four episodes of this season. Ignore it. It is just a rumour. Rumours like this also occurred at the end of season five when Gillian Anderson and Duchovny's contracts ended. So remember: it's a RUMOUR!!

September 13, 1999
Unfortunately, Gillian Anderson did not win the Emmy for best actress in a dramatic series. "Edie Falco, who plays a Mafioso wife in HBO's acclaimed mob drama ``The Sopranos,'' won the Emmy for best actress in a drama series."

On a happier note, "The X-Files" did win one Emmy: "Makeup for a Series: ``The X-Files: Two Fathers/One Son, Parts 1 and 2,'' Fox." Congratulations!

"If I'm not home by midnight...feed my fish."

Sorry! Unfortunately, as I said before, my computer is in the shop and the place I am at right now is closing early. Therefore, if you would like to know what episodes are coming up or airing while I'm away, you will have to go to FX or tvgrid or check your local listings. I will try my best to stop at a cyber café to try to update, but I can't guarantee it. See you soon.

*nb.: Canadian Viewers: type in your postal code when tvgrid asks for your zip code.

PREMIERE DATE CHANGES: sigh. We always have to wait for a long time for the premiere, and now....the date has been pushed back a week to it's originnally planned airdate. So, be ready on November 7th for the last season premiere of our favourite show.

  • I will be going on vacation in a couple of days and my computer is currently in the shop. That is why I haven't updated in the last couple of days. Tomorrow, I will put up one last update before I go, including a TV schedule that will cover most of my absence.

THE MONEY IS OUT THERE FOR DAVID DUCHOVNY:
Outspoken X-Files star David Duchovny filed suit against 20th Century Fox Film Corp. Thursday, claiming that the company has cheated him out of millions of dollars in profits from the TV show. According to Variety, the suit alleges that Fox sold various rights to the X-Files to its affiliated companies at below-market prices.
Duchovny also alleges that series creator Chris Carter conspired with Fox to cover up the dirty dealings, and was paid "hush" money for his compliance.
Damages were not specified, but sources say Duchovny is seeking in excess of $25 million.
