Lieutenant Thomas Hobbes finally finishes enduring the horrors of war in Sarajevo, and is ready to settle down with his fiancé Sophie. However, Hobbes is assigned one more task -- a task like no other. Though at first, it only seems like Hobbes is testing out the latest military combat training device, Hobbes soon finds himself fighting for his life. The device is a top secret computer simulation, or virtual reality, called Harsh Realm.

"It's just a game", High-Ranking Officer tells Hobbes.

In Harsh Realm, Hobbes forms an [uneasy] [alliance] with Mike Pinnochio ("Welcome to Harsh Realm"), he soon finds that High-Ranking Officer's words might not have been true, because it's more than just a game. It's a world without rules, without mercy -
-it's a world Lt. Thomas Hobbes is trapped in...until he can beat the highest ranking player, Omar Santiago.
